Cast iron building in London

I saw this building when I took a different route on my walk to London - it was down a side street in Kings Cross. It really reminds me of the cast-iron buildings you get in Manhattan, especially around Soho.
I have a love/hate relationship with London; I hate the pollution, the packs of tourists, Oxford Street, how rude everyone is, and I could go on and on and on. But I love how all you need to do is turn a corner and you'll be suprised. There's been a city here for hundreds and hundreds of years, and whether it's an old pub on Fleet Street, a Charles Dickens style dwelling house in East London, or a new skyscraper in the City, this place has the architecture to show it.

My weekend

After three weeks of constant visitors my flat is my own again and I can continue in my Bridget Jones style life. This weekend - cleaning, and laundry, laundry, laundry. I never want to iron again. I'm almost tempted to get an ironing lady, but my left wing, northern bird principles are so far stopping me. In the depths of North Manchester where I come from cleaning lady/ironing lady/gardener/"woman who does" etc = slattern.
